What this trainer improves

Target Tracking Trainer develops the controlled cursor movement needed to stay on a moving opponent. Instead of clicking fixed targets, you follow one target as direction and speed change. The goal is smooth correction, not a chain of sharp flicks, which makes this drill useful for maintaining crosshair contact.

Read your results

Compare your tracking time with the time you held the mouse down. A large gap means your cursor is often falling behind or cutting ahead of the target. Start at a speed that lets you follow the motion without panic corrections, then increase speed after your control is stable.

Practice tips

  • Follow the target with one smooth motion instead of repeated flicks.
  • Relax your grip so small direction changes do not become overcorrections.
  • Use a slower preset to establish control before selecting a smaller target.

FAQ

What does tracking train?

It trains continuous cursor control while a target moves, rather than one-time target acquisition.

Should I hold the mouse button down?

Follow the drill instruction. The key metric is how consistently the cursor stays on the target while it moves.
